i'm back from cambodia!
:D
it was really ultra fun.
i thought it would be really boring.
but it turned out to be fun actually.
hahah :D
whooo.
i really didnt wanna go at first!
): cos i didnt wanna miss church after camp!
hahha.
even during the trip right, i missed camp okay.
it was really fun!
i miss my dearest carmen and caryen! :D
hahahah.
yeah. i really wonder how bel and ahem is doing right now.
hmmm ^.-
anyway, we built a pathway!!

it's really cool.
we did everything from scrap you know.
and with human labour.
WHOLELY(sp?!) with human labour!
we dont have machines at la.
so i was building it until my hands become like old woman's hands okay!
super ultra rough and like, got alot of lines which looks like cracks on it!

but ohwell, very worth it!

cos the pathway actually links cosi to emmaus! :D
yup, so it was really significant la.
but whoa man, it was very tiring.
hahaha but we have our team!
bob the builder and his team!
LOL. royston is bob and we are his team.
lol. like really, i dont how he does those digging and piling and mixing so well man.
HAHAHA.
but anyway, it was fun building the pathway!
we almost couldnt finish it okay!
cos on thursday, the sand ran out.
so no sand to make the cement.
so we couldnt finish it.
and thurs is our last working day!
friday was city tour and sat morning (6am!) we'll be leaving emmaus already!
so yeah, our city tour was cut short and we build the pathway from like, 4/5pm in the afternoon all the way to like, 8pm or smth!
yeah, and we actually had a programme for the girls at emmaus at SEVEN pm okay.
so yeah, we were really scared we didnt have enough cement.
and like, we were ALL working.
using torchlights, passing cement in a chain, laying the cement, mixing cement.
we really worked like dogs okay.
HAHAHAHA
yeah! and also, audrey was like, 'dont worry. we will have enough cement, we can finish it in time! just declare it, and it will happen! like the 5 loaves and 2 fishes thingy'
and you know what, really you know!!
we had enough cement.
and not only that, but we still had 1 bucket of cement left!!

it's really cool okay.
we were like, all super happy.
cos that's our main project in that sense, other than talking to the girls there.
building the pathway was the main project.
and we really wanted to finish the whole pathway!
like, be the team which finished the pathway!

hahhah yup, so when we finally did, we like, cheering and stuff!
ahahhaa.
and took many pics also!

we took like, 5 or 6 days building that okay!
next time must build pathway, i know how to!

but one bad thing about that place is that there are TONS of insects!!
omg, i really couldnt stand it at first okay.
there are like, TRUCKLOADS OF INSECTS!
even species which i hadnt seen you know.
HAHAHA. yeah lor.
so scary i tell you.
plus, the insects there are DOWN RIGHT DUMB!!
omg, they really ah, no eyes eh!!
they can fly and suddenly bang into you one leh!
really!
they just suddenly fly and then, SMACK! right onto my body okay!
wah, i freaked out like crazy and was like, hitting my shirt to get it out.
very very very ultra scary!
then there was once when i was teaching a song to the girls there, and this insect came flying and POMP! landed on my NECK!
gosh, so sick, and cos i was like, eww! and tried to brush it away, it went INTO my shirt!!

pfft, i could nearly faint there man.
lol. but whatever it is, i was like, AHHHH!! and like, trying to get it out.
and obviously, all the girls were laughing at me.

they live there since they were born!
and then even the rest of the team were laughing at me.
i tell you, it's a terrible and scary experience okayy!!

even the toilets.
wah, can die!!
so MANY insects flying around.
omg, and there isnt cubicles to bathed eh.
it's a common bath area.
where all the girls just wear sarongs and bathe from this huge tub and the water is freezing cold!!
yeah, very disgusting.
but after about 4 days or so, i went over to aunty carol's house to bathe!
cos she got proper bathing area :D
with shower head and NO INSECTS! :D
hahhaha.
i really miss that place.
it was ultra fun.
i love the hammocks!
whenever i got nothing to do, i will just lie on it.
and i slept in it once!
HAHAH.
obviously in the day.
if is in the night, i think i will be eaten alive the by the insects can.
there are ALOT of insects at night.
way more than in the day!
i also made friends there!!
aly, bopah, wilerie, rebecca, and others.
all cambodian names!
yeah, the first couple of days i told myself that i will never miss that place.
i was super sure.
like, i bet a million bucks
but then, now i relly miss my friends there!
it was very sad la.
almost everyone cried when we were leaving.
sighh ):
if i go back there again next year, then i can see them!
the only problem is that, going for mission trip is a HUGE commitment you know.
i really dont know if i will want to go or not.
that's why i didnt promise them that i will go back to visit them..
