round and round we go on an emotional rollercoaster ride

i'm dead tired. yesters i slept past 12 and woke up this morning @7?! tireddd ):
yesterday was drill comm day. D: D: D: D: D: thinking of it just makes me wanna cry. as in really, cry. it was really bad. to be honest, i thought our music drill was plain sloppy. and worse, the music was like. $#^$^(!#I@_!(^*@JF sighh ): our beat was messed up, everyone was not smart at all. and the worstest worse was our impromtu, AHHH. our ctg was TALKING for goodness sake. cos baba gave a wrong command and people still turned AND we did not hentak. sigh i feel so sad for pioneers, seriously. i really really really really SUPER wanted to AT LEAST maintain the pioneers standard of gold... but obviously we couldnt. immediately after we got off the parade ground and walked over to miss yang i couldnt help it but started to tear. and then miss yang still said that we did well. i mean, i'm thankful that she didnt scold us or anything but it's so obvious that we messed up the whole thing please. AHHHHHHHH, then we went to sit at the spectators stands and 4th coy happened to march out. gosh they are SOOO good! i nearly wanted to burst into tears seeing them la. their timing, and esp tunka lunka was ultra pro. it's my last drill comm and we didnt even get a gold, that's what i'm really sad about. but everyone seemed to be just happy and thankful for a silver though. i wonder if anyone else was as sad as me..
but anyway the prize presentation part was SOO nerve wrecking. i prayed and was like, NOT cop please. NOT cop. and then, phew we didnt. it's like, every ctg the person announced i'll be like, not 27 not 27 not 27 not 27. hahaha. it's really scary la. then the rest were like saying, no matter what we get, just cheer. so after last ctg of bronze was announced, we cheered like crazy. cos that means we didnt get bronze la! :D haha. but then... our ctg was first to be called for silver. and everyone cheered but i was like ... just stoned. cos i really wanted a gold. but i still cheered and tears were welling up in my eyes. just senior ctg. so i cheered and teared at the same time. quite wierd, but that's what happened. haha so after that we left even before challenge shield was announced. but nevermind la. we got a silver already, cant change anything..
then after we reached back to school, we prayed, took photos and bought bandage tickets! went to ruth's house to change clothes and wash the gel off my hair. haha borrowed her f21 checkered high waist shorts cos i only had fbts and a t shirt. :D lol. i love her shorts!! super nicee! i wanna get a new pair of shorts now :D lol. but economic crisis la, how to go buy? unless it's really cheap. like, factory sales? i dont mind :D hahha. so we walked out from maple woods to mg and i SLIDE down maplewoods pathway okay. omg, i was like. AHHHH! super high pitchly cos i got a shock. and it's cos i was wearing my gb boots. HAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHA HAHAHHAHA. people were like ?!?!?!?!? lol, but it's quite a fashion statement. black ankle length boots with high waist checkered shorts and an oversized shirt. lol :D i like :D but anyway, we went to watch bandage 2 and to be honest, it aint that nice. i rather stay at someone's house and play @ the pool like how seniors did in 07! gosh, that was super ultra fun. miss those times! ):
met many people there! i think i saw a guy from my church there. heh. so, mg band won 2nd! :D go nell! she sang so nicely! i didnt know she could sing so nice! now i like the knock knock knocking on heaven's door song. hahahaahha. and the harmonisation with her friend was really nice too! got those sji guys do a standing ovation :D
today @church, sonia and i had fun! :D but when we were singing the slow songs, i suddenly started thinking about yesterdays drill comm and the prize presentation ceremony. i dont know why, but i think yesterday there was just so much things going on. 9am, in school polishing boots and practicing last minute. 1pm, leaving school for nee soon camp, 6pm, comm ended 7.30 bandage2 11++++ bandage2 ended. after that, bathed and slept there was no time at all for me to think about drill comm, to reflect and to actually even feel sad. that's why when today @church, i suddenly had time to think and reflect and i realised how sad i actually am. i didnt know i would be that sad. but when tears started trickling down my face, i realised that i was actually really upset and disappointed deep down.
there were alot of factors leading to why we only got a silver. but i think the main one was our individual efforts. it wasnt enough at all. this actually really taught me alot. i'm gonna help ina's ctg tmrw morning. and i think i'm gonna tell them stuff. like, really. there's just alot i can say about drill comm. and if we dont want 1coy drill standard to drop any further, i think all we can do is to improve and do what we didnt do this year. hahah i think i sound like really a history student. 'factors' and all. lol
